In the continued partnership with Dallas Independent School District (DISD), SMP recently donated training props to the newly opened DISD Career Institute North.
SMP Director of Training, Ryan Kooiman made the delivery and said “I’m proud of the relationship with have with DISD and the opportunity they give us to work with their students and faculty in order to continue to elevate the automotive industry. With the recent opening of their new state of the art facility we were able to supply them with some training aids to use in their classes. They received numerous cut-aways of various designs of AC compressors and a running engine that is mounted to a stand and designed to have numerous faults built into it for the students to diagnose. We look forward to hosting more of their middle school students at our training facility and assisting with professional development of their staff in the near future. ”
