Local Teacher Appreciation | Independence
Every April, Independence, KS has a week-long celebration called “Love Independence.” During this week, businesses and organizations choose different projects to participate in that will help beautify and benefit the city of Independence and its residents. SMP-Independence did four total projects this year for Love Independence.
Our third project involved showing appreciation to our local school teachers. During teacher appreciation week, 8 members of our SMP Cares team took breakfast to our local middle school and served our teachers, janitors and school office administrators. The middle school was appreciative of our appreciation!
