Hunters Point Volunteering | LIC
Employees volunteered to mulch a section of LIC's waterfront, Hunters Point!
The gardens in Hunter’s Point are home to numerous native plant species that create a sustainable ecosystem and promote the ecological well-being of the waterfront. Volunteers spent the afternoon filling areas that were freshly picked of weeds and covering them with mulch to help stop any re-growth. It's a wonderful way to help give back to our local park and get some fresh air!
