As a part of Love Independence week, the SMP Cares team also took on the project of putting together family reintegration boxes for kids that are in Foster Care. This is a very special project because the goal of reintegration is to have these kids go back to live with their birth families if possible. These boxes included ingredients for Chicken Alfredo, a meal the family can cook together. As well as popcorn and blankets for a movie night and an activity book for kids. Our team donated the items for the boxes and spent an afternoon putting 20 boxes together. Two team members hand delivered the boxes to TFI.
