Coat Drive | Independence
Independence SMP plant did a coat drive to help keep our community warm this winter!
Employees were encouraged to bring in new or gently used coats to donate to St. Andrews Catholic Church. This church hosts a free Christmas dinner every year for those in the community who need a hot meal and a warm coat. They have a room full of donated coats for people to go in to and pick out a perfectly warm coat for the winter. An employee of SMP Independence volunteers every year to help with our coat drive and at the end of it, take all of the coats to St. Andrews. A great cause that gives you all the warm-fuzzy feelings!
